Senior Operations Associate

We operate from four offices located in the US and UK with an employee count of 200+ professionals. As an established Fintech company, we are extending the operations team in Bangalore and we are seeking creative and proactive professionals to help us define the future of our technology. 

As a Senior Operations Associate, you will be part of the project team operating in a hands-on technical capacity.  In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing large data sets, assisting in migration issue resolution and reconciliation of investment structures as well as transactional and static data. You will also be responsible for testing system automations and processes to ensure a quality final product.
 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements for the data migration and automation needs.
• Must be able to quickly pick up new concepts or skillsets and apply them in daily job activities.
• Confident in communicating clearly and effectively and demonstrate strong emotional intelligence.
• Able to be nimble and adaptive, embracing ongoing changes and wearing multiple hats
• Forward thinking and passionate about solving problems, bringing innovative ideas to  the attention of our clients and team. 
• Perform data migration audit, reconciliation and exception reporting.
• Support testing activities in relation to validation of migration processes and system automations.
• Work with systems & data governance to ensure internal controls are implemented and data integrity is maintained.
• Communicate status, risks, and progress on an ongoing basis to the project team
• Develop a clear understanding of Client reporting requirements, the structure of the existing reports and Client deliverables.
• Develop knowledge of Colmore’s existing processes and procedures to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Key requirement for this role:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Hand on experience in data migration and implementation of projects.
• Good working knowledge of accounting databases/running reports.
• Competent user of MS Excel and other MS products
• Proven experience of working with SQL and advanced excel/Power Query is desirable
• Experience of documenting solutions and processes
• Having exposure in Private Equity is mandatory
• Understanding of fund/group structures is a plus
• Experience in accounting is necessary
• Ability to comprehend and simplify complex concepts to help influence decisions
• Methodical and logical approach to problem solving
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills and an ability to communicate flexibly with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple Geographies
