As an established Fintech company, we are seeking creative and proactive engineers for our Investor Insight Senior Associate operations team in Bangalore who will be a great value addition and help us define the future of our technology.
As an Investor Insight Senior Associate, you will be part of a high impact team focused on delivering exceptional customer service in the context of both People and Customer Promises within the Investor Insight. Reporting into the Vice President, you will be responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate and high quality MI reporting. In addition the role requires the Associate to lead, empower and develop individuals to fulfil their potential and deliver world class customer service.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the team deliver on key Service Level Agreements (SLAs) & KPIs through effective leadership within the Investor Insight operation
- Have a clear understanding of the Private Equity industry and how vehicles are structured enabling you to formulate questions to clients regarding transactions and financial statements
- Have a clear understanding of Private Equity terminology, performance metrics and types of fees and expenses
- Understand existing reporting and cash flow processes and procedures in order to be able to effectively use the existing quarterly report and cash flow data processing templates
- Have a clear understanding of client reporting requirements, the structure of the existing reports and client deliverables
- Be capable of independently conducting analyses of financial statements and capital account movements, extracting correct quantitative and qualitative information from financial reports
- Working with cross functional experts to define the recruitment, training and onboarding plan for new colleagues joining the business. Creating an environment where we attract, retrain, and develop talent
- Drive performance management across your team, constantly raising the bar in terms of delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Create a culture of right first time to make sure that both internal and external customer journeys are not impacted on
- Identify, initiate, and deliver continual improvement opportunities with particular focus on your frontline team
- Building cross function relationships, managing, and influencing stakeholders to enable continuous improvements to our customer delivery service
- Be an effective agent for positive change, driving and supporting the change agenda.
- Communicate with customers on a regular basis, providing updates, handling client escalations
Key requirement for this role:
- 5+ years of related experience of working in the Private Equity industry.
- Bachelors’ Degree. University courses conducted in English are preferred.
- A professional qualification, CFA or CPA is preferable
- Strong working experience in data extraction from the financial statements and data reconciliation.
- Should have a good understanding in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
- Should be good at Analysing data using Microsoft Excel
- Business fluency in English is required.
- Proven success as a leadership position in complex and fast paced environments is essential.

- Ability to galvanise, motivate, engage with a team to deliver optimum performance.
