FAIR Data Analyst

We operate from four offices located in the US and UK with an employee count of 200+ professionals. As an established Fintech company, we are setting up FAIR Data Analyst operations in Bangalore and we are seeking creative and proactive professionals to help us define the future of our technology. 

As a FAIR Data Analyst within the FAIR/ Investor Insight team, you will be part of a high impact team focused on delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting into a FAIR Client Manager/ Sr.Associate, you will be responsible for providing data extraction support to the FAIR Team in the context of analysing financial statements, capital account statements, quarterly reports, ILPA templates, and other documents provided to Colmore from GPs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Should be able to extract key expense and fee data from financial statements, notes to the financial statements, capital account statements, quarterly reports, and ILPA templates into the custom FAIR platform.
• Make sure that the FAIR team is provided with key data on a timely basis in order to meet Client deadlines.
• Work with the Client Support team in order to obtain and maintain the necessary documents to support the data extraction.
• Flag key footnotes or strange/ unusual items to the FAIR team for further investigation.
• Liaise directly with GPs to obtain key information for the FAIR team.
• Work closely with the FAIR team to make sure projects stay on-track and can be delivered to clients on a timely basis
• Understand how work is transferred through the team and ultimately to clients.
• Flag potential setbacks and bottlenecks to the FAIR Client Manager quickly and effectively.

Key requirement for this role:

• 2+ years’ experience in a data processing or finance/accounting role is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred
• Detailed-oriented individual who works well independently on systematic projects.
• Expertise in comprehending financial statements, notes to the financial statements, capital account statements, and other information commonly provided by GPs.
• Experience preparing Client Reports ( Financial data)
• Self-motivated to meet internal KPIs, with the knowledge that consistently exceeding them can lead to career progression
• Meticulous when it comes to applying consistent methodologies when extracting data and attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet team and client deadlines
• Working experience using Microsoft Excel (good at SUM, SUMIF, VLOOKUP, etc.)
